Naggar Castle

Hadimba Temple colloquially known as Dhoongri Temple is an elegantly crafted 4-tier pagoda roofed structure, set amidst dense Deodar forests. This highly revered shrine is dedicated to Goddess Hidimba who was the wife of Bhima from the Indian epic, Mahabharata. A centre of religious, historical and archaeological interest, this temple is frequented by tourists as well as devotees from all corners of the country. Built in AD 1533 by Raja Bahadur Singh of Kullu, the temple houses a stone idol of Goddess Hidimba that measures about 60 cm in height. The interiors of the temple are exquisitely adorned with wooden carvings that depict legendary figures and symbols. As per legends, the giantess Hidimba indulged in penitence, as a result of which she was raised to the position of Goddess Durga. Siyali Mahadev:- A temple is very old & famous in the village of Siyal dedicated to lord Shiva.

Vashisht Temple & Water Springs:-Dedicated to the local deity and sage by the same name, Saint
Vashist, the Vashist Temple on the banks of River Ravi is worth a stop. The temple showcases
lovely wood carvings. The real attraction here is the therapeutic hot springs that are piped and
cemented to make for a public bath.

Tibetan Monasteries:-One of the most fascinating aspects of Manali is the fact that it has several colourful monasteries. These monasteries serve not only as a place of worship but also as guardians of the rich culture and history of the Tibetan people settled in Kullu and Manali. The two most important monasteries that draw a huge number of tourists to Manali from across the globe are the Gadhan Thekchoking Gompa and the Himalayan Nyingamapa Gompa. 2nd day : Solang Valley Tour/ Attal Tunnel/ Sissu Lake /Rohtang Pass

Rothang Pass located at a height of 3979 meters and at a distance of 55 kms from Manali, Rohtang Pass is on the highway to Keylong/Leh. In winters, the pass remains closed but is open fromJune to October for motor vehicles. This pass is a gateway to Lahaul Spiti, Pangi and Leh valley. The best time to visit the pass is between May/June to October/November. In the month of May, Rohtang becomes a hotspot for adventure enthusiasts. Tourists can go for various thrilling activities like snow scooters, skiing and mountain biking. Nature lovers can enjoy beautiful views of
glaciers, peaks and Chandra river that flows down in the Lahaul valley. There is a waterfall named Rahala, which is located at a distance of 16 kms from Manali on the way
to Rohtang Pass. This waterfall flows down from an altitude of 2,500 meters and looks amazingly wonderful. Photography buffs must visit this pass as they get to click one of the most beautiful pictures of nature. It is recommended to hire a local cab or take a bus, as the drive to Rohtang Pass becomes quite tough with slippery roads and narrow curves. Bollywood Connect: The first part of the popular song 'Yeh Ishq Haaye' from the romantic movie Jab We Met was shot at Rohtang Pass.

Solang Valley: Located at a distance of 18 kms from From Hotel, Solang Valley lies between Solang village and Beas Kund. It offers a beautiful view of glaciers and snow capped mountains. Since the valley has fine ski slopes, it is a perfect place for skiing. The venue for the winter skiing festival and also offers training in skiing to the tourists. In winter, the valley becomes a skiing paradise with children of all ages slipping and sliding over the fresh white snow. When snow melts in the summer, skiing is replaced by parachuting, zorbing, paragliding and horse riding. For snow
lovers, the best time to visit Solang Valley is between the months of December to February.

Atal Tunnel : The construction of the Atal Tunnel connecting Manali with Leh, which is the world's longest highway tunnel above 10,000 feet, has been completed in a span of 10 years.
The horseshoe shaped single-tube, double-lane tunnel has many firsts. It is also the country's first tunnel to have an escape tunnel within the main tunnel because of the topography. This is also the first tunnel to deploy the Rowa flyer technology, which allows engineers to work at
inverted levels.

3rd Day : Kullu Kasol Manikaran Tour

White Water Rafting in Kullu Valley can be enjoyed in the river Beas throughout the year except during the period from 15-July to 15-September. However rafting is also not done during rains and winters.Trips generally start at Pirdi and continue 14 km down to Jhiri. White Water river- rafting facilities are offered by private operators at Pirdi near Kullu where a water sports centre has been set up to provide a one stop water sports adventure experience for the tourist. Rafting is done on
stretches of the River Beas, where rapids of high grades can be negotiated safely, providing an exhilarating experience for enthusiasts. The Mountaineering Institute of Allied Sports in Manali, Himachal Pradesh can arrange two-week kayaking trips on the Beas River in Oct. The Beas River is a haven for extreme Kayakers and beginner rafters alike. This river has got I - IV grade rapids. Rafting begins at around 10:00 Hrs in the morning at Pride and can take from a few hours to
a full day.

Manikaran Gurudwara located in the small town of Manikaran, is one of the most prominent places of worship for Sikhs. Also known as Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji Gurudwara, this shrine was built at the
site where Guru Nanak Dev Ji came with his disciple Bhai Mardana for the welfare of the people. On his arrival, Bhai Mardana arranged some pulses and flour from the local people for . However,
he could not arrange a fire to cook the food. It was then that Guru Nanak Dev Ji asked him to remove a stone from the spot where he was sitting. The disciple did the same and was amazed to
see an eruption of a spring of hot water. Guruji advised him to take the name of Almighty and donate prasada (food) he prepared from this hot water.

4th day : Naggar Castle / Jana waterfall

The Naggar Castle is a magnificent historical structure made of stone and wood,. The castle was built by Raja Sidhi Singh in 1460 AD in an impressive combination of European and Himalayan architecture. There are three small shrines present within the premises that hold religious significance. Here, a gallery houses the paintings of the Russian artist Nicholas Roerich. Timings: 10 am - 5 pm on all days

Jana Waterfall is a 30 feet high waterfall located near Manali in a quaint village called Jana. You have to trek to the waterfall through dense deodar and pine trees amidst snow-capped mountains..
There were two Dhabas offering local Thali at Rs.150. They served red rice, make ki roti, sarso da saag, lingri, rajma, curry, siddu, kheer, gud, ghee and few chutneys/pickles. Out of these lingri is a
locally grown wild vegetable and very tasty. Siddu is a dish commonly found in Manali region. It is stuffed with the paste of khuskhus.
